About Ronella
Climate change is a global problem. Its impacts are always local.
Ronella Group is a UK-registered not-for-profit organisation. We exist because the communities most exposed to climate change — to failing rains, rising heat, floods and unreliable energy — are so often the last to benefit from the technologies that could help them adapt.
Our role is to close that gap. We connect innovators in waste-to-energy, renewable power, water purification, food security and modular housing with the places that need them, building customised programmes around each community's real conditions rather than a one-size-fits-all product.
What drives us
Empathy first, engineering close behind
The people we serve are not abstractions. They are farmers whose soil no longer holds water, families cooking on biomass because the grid never arrived, and villages rebuilding after floods. Protecting vulnerable populations from climate impacts demands adaptive strategies — and it demands that those strategies actually work.
That is why everything we recommend is proven technology, why every opportunity passes a due-diligence and feasibility check before we commit, and why our project delivery is independently verified by Bureau Veritas. Credibility is not a marketing position for us; it is the thing that makes partners, funders and communities willing to build with us.
We are deliberately small at the centre and large at the edges: a UK team in Lincoln and London, six specialist teams, and a growing international network of collaborators who know their own regions far better than we ever could.
Where we are
Two offices, ten active countries
Our UK base coordinates a network that stretches across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Australasia.
